It’s Kids Clothes Week and I was finally able to spend a bit of time sewing on Wednesday. I self drafted this little color block raglan sleeve number for my Tessa girl. The pattern needs help, so I’m not sure how much wear we’ll get out of this. Perhaps I’ll take it apart and make the necessary adjustments because it’s kind of cute. I love the floral print and coral combination.
Until I take the time, though, this will remain in its unhemmed, ill-fitting state. Ah well. It’s the thought that counts, right?
I finished a semester of school yesterday and felt like I needed to get behind my sewing machine and create something. So, this was more a therapeutic project than anything anyway. Some projects are like that- more for my soul than to actually make something usable.
