Cutest baby romper in the WORLD

Well, my sister is having a baby… a girl!  I have boys, she has girls.  That’s just the way it works.  I am beyond excited for little miss to arrive. I have my project list full of things to make for her.

Image I used the Baby Romper pattern and tutorial from Shwin and Shwin.  I am obsessed with their site.

ImageI followed the tutorial pretty closely, but I didn’t do a contrasting band across the front.

ImageI also used some fabric covered buttons, which I sewed to the front and put snaps on the straps.  I didn’t want to fuss with button holes.  But also, snaps are much more practical for a baby than buttons.

ImageI think it turned out swell. 🙂 Hopefully, by the time my sister has the baby, I’ll have a nice stack of cute baby things to give her.
